What would the world be without oceans or animals?

So yesterday we were asked to comment a BIG question we have . My question was What would the world be without animals? This question has been something I have been wondering. The reason is because we live in a world were animals and marine animals play a big role in our life. Every where we go we can see some type of animal. Such as birds, cats, dogs, lizards all those kind of things. What would happen if there was no animals such as those things. Think about it. But also what about the ocean life there is so much of the earth's oceans that hasn't been discovered what if that was all gone in a snap of a finger. That's my BIG question.
