Dream within a dream

my reaction to this was confusion and the reason to that is because I didn’t really understand what the poem was about . But that usually happens with the Edgar Allen poems.the reason I didn’t understand it was because he is talking about the shore and the sand then he is talking about how he should of grabbed it tighter and not let it go and how he was crying.
